Trout Run Camp Resort in Wellsville, NY Adds New Amenities for 2022 Camping Season

Interest in outdoor recreation remains high after two years of pandemic travel restrictions.

Wellsville, New York — April 5, 2022 Trout Run Camp Resort in Wellsville, NY is making park improvements and adding new services and amenities ahead of the 2022 camping season.

According to marketing director Gretchen Hanchett, the park is building a splash pad targeted to be open for use by the end of May.

Hanchett says, “The splash pad we’re installing will be an entertaining way for kids to cool off in the hot summer months, and we think it will position our camp to be a great draw for families near and far seeking affordable ways to get outdoors and beat the heat.”

Hanchett reports the park has also added six new family cabins, for a total of 17 log cabins.

“We added to our camping comfort experience here at our park to accommodate more people seeking outdoor recreation but not planning to bring their own camping or RVing equipment,” said Hanchett. “We pride ourselves on being a full-service camping resort in Western New York.”
