CONY and RVshare partner to bring awareness of camping in New York

Promotion of the RVshare platform will help encourage travelers to book CONY campgrounds.
 
Pittsford, New York – November 29, 2022 – Campground Owners of New York (CONY), the trade association for independently owned campgrounds in New York State, has joined with RVshare in an affiliate marketing partnership, with the intent to help bring awareness to New York-based campgrounds and help both renters and owners on the RVshare platform book those campgrounds.

RVshare is the largest online community for RV renters and owners with a diverse selection of vehicles for rent across the US, ranging from luxury motorhomes to cozy camper vans, and has also joined CONY as an affiliate vendor to its nearly 200 member parks.

CONY is a trade association serving independently owned campgrounds and RV parks in New York State.

Donald Bennett, Jr., CONY’s President & CEO, was inspired to develop a partnership with RVshare in part after seeing the publicity generated by the company for its first-ever Campers Choice Awards, “The Campies.” “I had been seeing a lot recently about RVshare in the outdoor hospitality industry and through consumer advertising channels and felt there could be a good fit somehow between CONY and RVshare. I was even more convinced after seeing their consumer outreach through their awards program. Conversations between myself and RVshare reps ensued, and an official cross-promotional partnership developed.”

The CONY-RVshare partnership includes cross-promotion on each company’s consumer websites, promotion of individual campgrounds on various RVshare landing pages, referral bonusing opportunities for CONY and its campgrounds related to signups for RV listings, site bookings, and owner referrals, and access to leads and other programs provided by RVshare. CONY would also provide RVshare with trackable promotion on its digital platforms, including websites, e-news blasts, social media and apps.
